Apple Cider is older than America herself with our first cider making even being tied to the Mayflower in 1620. It has also been said that Johnny Appleseed planted apple trees for cider, not for eating. In the days before the modern plumbing infrastructure of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it was much easier to get cider than fresh, clean water to drink. We at Six Sailor Cider, love and respect the bizarre history of our countries oldest and forgotten favorite beverage and celebrate that heritage with a modern, nautical themed twist on ingredients, flavors, and spices.

Our six main flavors for our six main sailors. These flavors will be found all year round and serve as the backbone of both our brand, but also what we think the future of apple cider can be. Each flavor corresponds closely with the personality, style, and feel of the individual sailors. The idea behind this is, that not only is there a cider and flavor for everyone, but you can also fall in love with the story of the corresponding sailor.

Seasonal Ciders
DESCRIPTION
We didn't want to stop there, so on top of our six main flavors that will be offered year round, we also wanted to push the concept of what we thought delicious cider could be by offering seasonal flavors that will be found at different points throughout the year. These seasonal ciders will be in the simple four main categories of the seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall. We'll have three new flavors for each season, so that's a dozen more ciders to sip as you continue the story of our fabled Six Sailors. And who knows, there might even be another surprise cider or two throughout the year to make it a cool baker's dozen.
